Despite reforms, Saudi women continue to flee Mohammed bin Salman’s Kingdom

Women flee the kingdom because of the guardianship system, which is perhaps the most restrictive in the Muslim world when it comes to women’s autonomy, freedom and choices.
Second, the runaway problem is a function of the failure of state institutions to provide protection for women.
Political will is needed for a real reform so that women can feel secure in their own country.
