EU claims Austria's exit from UN migrant plan puts "shame" on the country by aligning with Trump

EU critics slammed the decision of Austria’s Chancellor Sebastian Kurz to pull out of the agreement which declares mass migration to be “inevitable, necessary, and desirable.”
The European Commission head Jean-Claude Juncker said that Austria’s refusal to sign the pact was the only stain on an otherwise “really impressive” presidency.
European Greens co-leader Franziska Keller said the chancellor’s caution over the UN agreement has “damaged us all” in placing Austria “in the same corner” with Trump and Hungarian prime minister Viktor Orban.
