Harvard Professor says mysterious space object 'Oumuamua' could be alien probe

The chairman of Harvard University’s astronomy department has defended his claim that an interstellar object that passed through our solar system in late 2017 and early 2018 could have been “of artificial origin.”
It was dismissed as “wild speculation” by Robert Weryk, the scientist who discovered the object and concluded it was a comet.
However, Professor Abraham Loeb said: “Every argument needs to be based on evidence, but if the evidence points to an anomaly, we need to talk about an anomaly.”
