Saudi flag artwork removed from New York's ground zero after less than a month flowing outcry from 9/11 families

The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey has installed the first art work to be shown at the new World Trade Center, called “Candy Nations.” It features 20 sculptures, one for each of the G20 countries, and one is the Saudi Arabian flag.
The survivors and family members of the tragedy’s victims vehemently opposed having this flag displayed at Ground Zero.
Following an outcry in the last week, the Port Authority has to move the installation to JFK International Airport.
