Well, good cheer is in short supply this week after militant PM Ramush Haradinaj told NATO chief Jens Stoltenberg he was planning on transforming the Kosovo Security Force, the KSF, into an army. Despite warnings from the statelets sponsors in Brussels.
Stoltenberg wasn't amused: “Such a move is ill-timed. It goes against the advice of many NATO Allies. And may have serious repercussions for Kosovo’s future Euro-Atlantic integration," he thundered.
